Végre vehettem magamnak egy profi kamerát. Mindig is érdekelt a filmkészítés,
de ide is születni kell, mint a csigának az autópálya túlsó oldalára.
De ez nem vette el a kedvem! Így mint mindent az eddigi az életemben,
a magam örömére és alkotói vágyam kiszolgálása céljából megvalósítva belevágtam.
Igyekeztem lovas témákban kortalannak tűnő filmeket készíteni, pénz nélkül,
barátok bevonásával, minden allűr nélkül.
Láttam a képeket és kerültem minden szokásos filmes hókuszpókuszt.
Kitanultam a vágást, a rendezést és lovas sorozatot is készítettem.
Több csatorna is leadta filmjeimet hosszas kérlelésemre, úgy,
hogy még nekem kellet fizetnem érte. De megérte!
A mai napig is ismételgetik a televíziók az értesítésem nélkül az alkotásaimat.
Épp ezért egy jónevű senki lehetek, akit csak néznek, de nem ismernek!
At last, I was able to buy myself a professional camera. Filmmaking had always fascinated me, although breaking into that world is about as likely as a snail being born on the other side of a motorway.
But that never discouraged me.
As with everything else I have done in my life, I embarked on this journey for my own enjoyment and simply to satisfy my creative desire to make something new.
I set out to create timeless films centred on horses, working without a budget, together with friends, and without any pretence or unnecessary glamour.
I trusted the power of the images themselves and deliberately avoided the usual cinematic tricks and special effects.
I taught myself editing and directing, and eventually produced my own equestrian film series.
After much persistence, several television channels agreed to broadcast my films although, ironically, I even had to pay for the privilege.
It was worth every penny.
Even today, television channels continue to rebroadcast my films without notifying me.
Perhaps that is why I have become a well-known nobody someone whose work is watched by many, while the person behind it remains largely unknown.
